An invention relates to the rail transport, namely to the electric motor car rolling stock. The object of the present invention is to minimize the number of cars by increasing functional abilities of an electric car. The present method for conversion of an electric train car by equipping one of its ends with a driver's cab, provided with an executive system and a platform with an electrical cabinet and an access door, is characterized in that the motor car is equipped with a driver's cab, its mating up to the bolster beam being performed by the body frame and beyond the bolster beam being performed by the side-frames. Besides, the air intake jalousies of the traction engines of the leading truck are placed on the lower part of the side-frame between the driver's cab and the door of the service platform. General view of an electric train car manufactured by the above method is shown in fig.1, and it comprises a body, trucks with traction engines and a system for cooling the traction engines, said cooling system being established as system the jalousies, filters and air-channels connecting said filters to the traction engines, as well as contains a communication unit for communication with an execution system. The electric train car offered particularly is characterized in that it is equipped with a driver's cab provided with an execution system and a service platform having an access door. Furthermore, at least one pair jalousie-and-filter is placed on the side-frame between a control cab and an access door, air-channels of filters being made with a gap and equipped with an air flow expansion chamber.
