The present invention discloses a new polypeptide-human NPAT protein 12, the polynucleotide encoding it and a method producing the polypeptide by recombinant DNA technology. The present invention further discloses a method using the polypeptide to treat various disorders, e.g. malignant neoplasm, hematopathy, developmental disorder, HIV infection and immunological disease and various inflammations etc. The present invention also discloses an antagonist of the polypeptide and its therapeutic use. The present invention further discloses the use of the polynucleotide encoding the new human NPAT protein 12. |
