<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exhibit an effect of collision prevention upon birds coming flying by winding a colored spiral rod along the longitudinal direction of the outer periphery of an aerial transmission line in a spiral form. SOLUTION: The twisting direction of aluminum strand at the outmost layer of steel core aluminum stranded wire 1 is S twist (clockwise twist). The winding direction of a colored spiral rod 2 is also S twist (clockwise twist). In shop production of the rod 2, metallic wire, for example, aluminum wire is formed into a spiral shape beforehand, transported to a site of existing aerial transmission lines, and the colored spiral rod 2 is wound on the aerial transmission line 1, thus it is possible to form the colored spiral rod 2 into an aerial transmission line for prompt and easy prevention of bird collision.</p> |
