The invention relates to a set of toilet fittings with a pivoting cover (15) and toilet seat (13), characterised in that the cover (15) is not provided with a grip for fingers, in other words there is no gap, recess or projection provided on the toilet seat (13) such that the cover may be lifted without the toilet seat (13). The advantage of the above lies in the fact that the toilet seat (13) must always be lifted before the user can relieve themselves. Men, who have the unpleasant habit of urinating in the standing position are thus forced to pivot the toilet seat (13) upwards, so that subsequent users of the toilet are provided with a clean, hygienic toilet seat. |
