The phase shift evaluation method uses an orthogonal correlation between an input test signal (T) representing a momentary required value for an electric locomotive drive and an output test signal (TA) obtained by filtering the angular velocity or angular acceleration at the drive output shaft using a bandpass filter (BP) with a centre frequency corresponding to the frequency of the test signal. The output test signal is multiplied with the input test signal and a 90 degree phase-shifted version of the input test signal, with formation of the mean values of the obtained products and calculation of the phase shift from the arc tangent of their quotient. |
