The present invention relates to soap die blocks which have a reduced aspect ratio, but can carry the same number or more of identical cavities as a conventional die block, or which have same aspect ratio and can carry at least one more identical cavity. This can be achieved by angling a major cavity axis at an angle of 1 DEG to 90 DEG from a major axis of the die block.
