PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contents distribution system, a server computer, and a recording medium having a recorded program recorded thereon, which promote the use of contents and enable a contents creator, to collect the adequate charge for the use. SOLUTION: A portable telephone 5 is connected to a network 3 and downloads contents 23-1, 23-2, 23-3, and so on that a content server 9 has to a memory 13, free of charge. The downloaded contents 23-1, etc., are charged for according to their use states, when they are used and the use states and charged amounts are sent to and held on a portable telephone service providing server 7. The portable telephone service, providing server 7, collects the contents use charges together with a telephone charge and distributes the contents use charges to the contents user. |
