PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print a document by judging typeface data in the document, and specifying the optimal typeface from among printer loaded typefaces. SOLUTION: When it is judged that any typeface data which are being used in a document file are not present in obtained loaded typeface data by a printer driver, typeface replacement information capable of realizing typeface replacement in a printer 4-202 is obtained from a typeface replacement data server device 4-201, and whether or not the typeface replacement is available is judged based on the typeface replacement information and the loaded typeface data, and any typeface replaceable by the printer 4-202 or a unique typeface is selected so that the document can be printed. |
