PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a postage stamp sales system, equipped with a means for performing efficient replenishment with postage stamps just enough for deficient postage stamps, and postage stamps, etc., by basically rationalizing management such as the confirmation of the quantities, selling amounts, and stock of the postage stamps, etc., and drastically lightening the burden on salespeople. SOLUTION: This system is equipped with stamps, etc., 1 which each have on themselves an RFID chip storing characteristic information as ID information, operating by using an external irradiating electromagnetic wave as its power source, and responding to an external question, a storage box 2 which has an antenna gathering the ID information by irradiating a stamp 1, etc., with the electromagnetic wave and includes at least one freely openable and closable storage shelf 3, a question means 5 which receives the ID information by irradiating the stamp 1 with the electromagnetic wave from the antenna 4, and a terminal device 7 which inputs the ID information from the question means 5 and manages the sale/stock state of individual stamps supplied into the storage box 2 and sold at a counter, so the stamps can be managed, one by one, with their ID numbers and the managing operation for quantity, sale, and stock confirmation can easily and securely be performed. |
