PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic method, such that influences on the image quality by the surface state of a light-accepting member are reduced when the spot diameter of the exposure light is further reduced to obtain higher resolution and that sharp images with high resolution and high image quality can be obtained. SOLUTION: In the electrophotographic method with a digital exposure system, by scanning and exposure by a BAE(background exposure) method to form an image on the photoreceptive member, the photoreceptive member used has an aluminum or aluminum alloy support body 401, the surface of which is treated with water and has a photosensitive layer 402 deposited on the surface of the support body. The surface of the photosensitive layer 402 has a protruding structure which corresponds to grain boundaries on the surface of the support body. |
