PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium inserting slot structure which makes the strength of a control panel higher and looks attractive and ensures the fail-proof ejection of a recording medium. SOLUTION: The recording medium reproducing device for mounting the control panel 2 on a sub-panel 1 is freely turnably provided with a lid 3 for opening and closing the recording medium inserting slot at the sub-panel 1 and the control panel 2 is provided with a projection 2d. The device is so constituted that, when the control panel 2 is mounted at the sub-panel 1, the projection 2d intrudes into a hole formed at the sub-panel 1 and turns the lid 3 to an open state.
