PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal-type flow sensor capable of suppressing the effects of temperature and accurately measuring the quantity of flow. SOLUTION: When heat from a control circuit 61 and from the periphery of a sensor is propagated to one ends of lead wires 40 and 41, the heat is radiated at radiating parts 50 and 51 on the way of propagation to the other end side of the lead wires 40 and 41. Therefore, it is possible to suppress the effects of heat to thermistors 17A and 17B on the other end side of the lead wires 40 and 41. As the temperature of the contact parts between the radiating parts 50 and 51 and lead wires 40 and 41 is measured by a third thermistor 45 and correction based on the result of the measured temperature is applied to detect the quantity of flow, it is possible to accurately detect the quantity of flow even if the thermistors 17A and 17B are affected by heat from other parts through the lead wires 40 and 41.
