<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a specific object detector that stably detects a specific object at a high-speed with high accuracy. SOLUTION: This specific object detector is provided with a moving picture decoding section 100 that decodes a coded data resulting from applying compression coding to a moving picture so as to generate at least a reproduced image signal, coding mode information for each unit area and a reference image signal being a reproduced image signal of one preceding frame, a macro block mobile object decision section 111 that references the reproduced image signal, the coding mode information and the reference image signal to decide a mobile object in the moving picture, a macro block specific color decision section 112 that references the reference image signal and the coding mode information to decide the presence of at least one specific color designated in advance in the unit area in a prescribed coding mode in the reproduced image signal, and a specific object decision section 113 that decides the specific object in the moving picture on the basis of the decision results of the macro block mobile object decision section 111 and the macro block specific color decision section 112.</p> |
