CRACK DIAGNOSTIC METHOD FOR REACTOR CORE INTERNAL STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crack diagnostic method for reactor core internal structure, capable of totally diagnosing cracks on the core internal surface remotely and in non-contact manner and reducing the exposure dose of workers and drastically reducing work man-hours. SOLUTION: A surface wave is generated on the surface of reactor core internal structure, a laser light is cast on the surface and based on the speckle pattern of laser holography that reflection light from the surface forms, cracks existing on the surface of the core internals are surveyed.
