PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an objective lens driving mechanism in which assembly workability is improved and mechanical characteristics are stabilized. SOLUTION: The optical storage device is constituted of a carriage mounted on the base movably in a reciprocating manner in a prescribed direction, a driving mechanism for moving the carriage including a first coil fixed thereon and a first magnetic circuit mounted on the bare, an objective lens that focuses an optical beam emitted from a light source on an optical storage medium, and a lens holder for holding the objective lens. The optical storage device is also provided with a conductive elastic supporting member which has a first end fixed on the carriage and a second end fixed on the lens holder and which supports the lens holder movably with respect to the carriage, and with a flexible printed board which has a first end fixed on the carriage and which is electrically connected to the conductive elastic supporting member. On the lens holder, a second coil is fixed and electrically connected to the conductive elastic supporting member. In a fashion oppositely facing the second coil, a second magnetic circuit is fixed on the carriage. |
