PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording medium which ensures little noise in a reproduced signal and has good recording characteristics as an optical recording medium with a light transmissive substrate, a recording layer subjected to heat-mode recording and a reflecting layer comprising a metal or metalloid in this order. SOLUTION: When an optical recording medium with at least a light transmissive substrate 2, a recording layer 4 subjected to heat-mode recording and a reflecting layer 5 comprising a metal or metalloid in this order is produced, a step for varying the bonding state of the constituent element of the reflecting layer 5 in at least the recording region is carried out. |
