摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electrophotographic photoreceptor substrate, having a uniform film with little deviation in film thickness by improving the anodic oxidation treatment as the surface treatment, and to provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor having satisfactory printing quality by using the substrate. SOLUTION: In the method of manufacturing electrophotographic photoreceptor substrate, by dipping a cylindrical aluminum substrate in an electrolytic cell in which an electrolytic liquid is circulated, so as to form an aluminum anodic oxidation film on the surface by the electrolytic anodic oxidation treatment, the electrolytic liquid is circulated in the axial direction of the cylindrical aluminum substrate at 2,000 l/(m2.h) or higher circulation flow rate. The electrophotographic photoreceptor is obtained, by using the electrophotographic photoreceptor substrate manufactured by the method having 0.5μm or smaller film thickness deviation of the aluminum anodic oxidation film.
