DROSS TREATMENT PROCESS AND EQUIPMENT THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dross treatment process which assure highly selective recovery of high purity metals from various kind of dross, reduced solvent consumption and drained waste water in the whole system. SOLUTION: A dross treatment equipment comprises a dissolving tank in which dross containing a plurality of metal elements is partially dissolved in acid or alkaline solutions to obtain suspension; a solid-liquid separator 5 which can separate the suspension into solid and liquid to select liquid solution excluding solids; a carrier housing body 8 in which a carrier 9 that is a fixed annular compound capable of selectively bonding with dissolved metal elements in the separated liquid solution, is made to contact with separated liquid solution so that the carrier 9 may hold dissolved metal elements and the carrier 9 so arranged to hold dissolved metal elements is further made to contact with eluting solvent to have metal elements eluted from the carrier 9; a piece of cleaning gas supply equipment 25 that feeds cleaning gas to the carrier 9 in the housing body. The dross treatment process depends upon the equipment for the treatment of dross.
