PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated sensor element which enables to detect the concentration of a specific gas accurately in exhaust gas in a wide burning condition from a lean to a rich of the burning part of an internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: This laminated sensor element 1 with a second electrochemical cell 3, which faces a second chamber 12 capable of obtaining a current corresponding to the concentration of a specific gas of a gas to be measured by applying a predetermined voltage, in which a first electrochemical cell 2 is set between a first chamber 11 and a reference gas chamber 14, and between the first chamber 11 and the reference gas chamber 14, oxygen is freely put in and out.
