PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the increase of the number of parts of damper members for supporting a supporting base of a head of a disk drive assembly in the assembly and to eliminate the need for dropping the number of revolutions of a disk for the purpose of vibration isolating. SOLUTION: This disk drive assembly is provided with a unit including a head section 8 for recording information or reproducing the information to or from the rotating disk 2 and a supporting base 10 to be mounted with this head section, the plural damper members 17 for supporting the supporting base 10 in the assembly in order to limit vibration and holding members 25 for holding the damper members from the outer side. Segments of high resonance frequencies are formed at the damper members 17 and gaps G are formed between these segments and the holding members 25. The segments of the high resonance frequencies are supported by the holding members 25 in the case the vibration of the supporting base 10 is large.
