PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a radio system to be used for buildings on a premise to communicate with the other buildings or the outside without causing radio inter interference. SOLUTION: A radio environment control system enables the buildings on a premise to communicate with the other buildings or the outside by the use of a radio system without causing radio interference. The radio environment control system has such a structure in which an electromagnetic shield is provided to, at least, the outer wall surface of one of the adjacent buildings, and another outer wall surface linked to the above outer surface so as to attenuate radio waves radiated from the radio system, or an electromagnetic shield is provided to the outer wall surface of the building on a premise boundary, corresponding to the position, output power, and distance of the base station of the radio system, and an electromagnetic shield is provided to the outer wall surfaces of the buildings. Therefore, the premises of a plurality of buildings are capable of effectively utilizing a radio system such as a wireless LAN without causing radio interference, the radio system can be connected to wire networks installed in the buildings anytime, and the buildings are capable of utilizing the services.
