PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accelerate a fixing process by making a nip width wide without enlarging a diameter of a roll, with respect to a belt fixing device. SOLUTION: In the device, a fixing belt 3 is hung between rolls land 2 provided with a heat source inside at least one of them and the two rolls 1 and 2 are brought into contact with a pressurizing roll 4 through the fixing belt 3.
