LOCATION DETECTING METHOD AND RADAR EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a location detecting method capable of detecting the location of an object and a radar device to utilize the same. SOLUTION: The radar equipment is provided with an antenna 11 for transmission to transmit electromagnetic waves, two antennas 12a and 12b for reception which are arranged at different locations from each other to receive the electromagnetic waves reflected at the object 40, and a location computing part 23 to compute the distances from the antennas 12a and 12b for reception to the object 40, on the basis of the time difference in the transmission and reception of the electromagnetic waves between the antenna 11 for transmission and antennas 12a and 12b for reception and to specify the direction of the object 40 from each computed distance. The location of the object 40 from the computed distances and direction from the antennas 12a and 12b for transmission to the object 40 can be detected.
