PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a wrong operation with which each client PC can easily access a facsimile server device and a general user rewrites by mistake the internal set state of the facsimile server device. SOLUTION: A facsimile server device 20 has a Web site function and a main control part 1 carries out plural HTTP tasks having different port numbers in accordance with the designation information given from a client personal computer 30 operated by every user. The device 20 contains a hard disk drive 9 which stores an HTTP task correspondence table 9b that defines the corresponding relation between the port number of each HTTP task and every user. Then the part 1 refers to the table 9b and carries out the HTTP task of port number corresponding to every user in accordance with the information that is specific to every user.
