PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor, an image forming device, an information embedding method and its program capable of holding continuity of additional information to be updated in image output after the additional information which cannot be analyzed even in the case that the additional information embedded in an original image cannot be analyzed. SOLUTION: Additional information embedded in image data is detected and analyzed. When prescribed information to be updated is included in the detected additional information as a result, the prescribed information is updated and embedded in an original position of the image data and when no prescribed information to be updated is included in any of the detected additional information, new piece of additional information including prescribed information at the latest state is embedded in a position which is not superposed on the existing piece of additional information of the image data.
