PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To monitor a composite image forming device which is connected to a general network (LAN) with simple constitution while using the LAN and existent facilities. SOLUTION: The composite image forming device 120 detects the state of a device in operation and transmits notice information showing the state to a monitor device 140 through the LAN 150 and the monitor device 140 receives the notice information sent from the composite image forming device 120 through the LAN 150, monitors the received notice information, and sends the monitored notice information to a monitor center S through the Internet 300; when a request to obtain the notice information showing the state of the composite image forming device 120 is received from a workstation 110a or 110b through the LAN 150, the mentioned monitored notice information is sent to the workstation as the request source through the LAN 150. |
