<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extremely convenient radio device in which low power consumption and low noise can be realized. SOLUTION: A local oscillation signal is delivered from a transmitting/ receiving voltage controlled oscillator when a signal is transmitted through direct communication with a counterpart station or through an external base station, and a local oscillation signal is delivered from a voltage controlled oscillator for direct speech between mobile stations when a signal is received through direct communication with the counterpart station. Power consumption is reduced by operating the voltage controlled oscillator for direct speech between mobile stations in the direct communication with the counterpart station. Furthermore, noise is lowered by equalizing the operational frequency range of the transmitting/receiving voltage controlled oscillator when transmitted and received, thereby limiting the operational frequency range.</p> |
