<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic inspection method capable of executing flaw detection surely even to a flaw detection object material having a rough crystal structure such as a metal weld zone, cast material or the like. SOLUTION: Incident angle dependency data are obtained by executing flaw detection to a test piece by changing the incident angle of an ultrasonic wave, and a data weighted function is obtained from the incident angle dependency data. Frequency dependency data are obtained by executing flaw detection by transmitting the ultrasonic wave having a frequency band, or the like, and the data weighted function is obtained from the frequency dependency data. Flaw detection is executed to actual flaw detection object material by changing the incident angle of the ultrasonic wave, and weight is given by the data weighted function, to actual flaw detection data obtained by executing flaw detection by the ultrasonic wave having the frequency band, to thereby improve an SN ratio and to detect a fault. The incident angle is changed by using a phased array method, and the frequency band is widened by using a probe equipped with a composite type piezoelectric transducer.</p> |
