PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the ringing of a driving voltage and to attain the lowering of current consumption. SOLUTION: In this driving device, when 64-gradation positive and negative voltages are alternatively outputted from an operational amplifier 37 based on a 6-bit data signal, respective data signals having upper 2 bits corresponding to an nth scan and an (n+1)th scan are logically processed in a slew rate control circuit 40 and in the case of the prescribed combination of data signals in which the voltage difference between the positive voltage and the negative voltage becomes large, the circuit 40 outputs the slew rate control signal TR of 'H' level to control the slew rate of the amplifier 37 to a high drive and the case of the prescribed combination of data signals in which the voltage difference between the positive voltage and the negative voltage becomes small, the circuit outputs the slew rate control signal TR of 'L' level to control the slew rate of the amplifier 37 to a low drive.
