PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high frequency heating system reducing nonuniformity of heating and hast in a heating speed. SOLUTION: This high frequency heating system is provided with a heating chamber for heating an object, a high frequency oscillator, a waveguide for propagating a high frequency oscillated by the high frequency oscillator in the heating chamber and a power supply port being a boundary between the waveguide and the heating chamber on one wall surface of the heating chamber, a part of a wall surface of the waveguide connected to the power supply port is formed as a movable wall, a driving means is arranged for rotating or moving the movable wall, shapes of the power supply port and the waveguide are simultaneously changed, a detecting means is arranged for detecting a heated state of the object, and irradiation of the high frequency to the heating object is controlled by the driving means on the basis of a signal from the detecting means.
