PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cartridge which can suppress the generation of chipping dust on a cartridge case side and can prolong the life of a coil spring. SOLUTION: This disk cartridge has the cartridge case 1 which is provided with a head access port at a prescribed position, a shutter 2 which opens and closes this head access port and the coil spring 3 which slides in the cartridge case 1 and elastically energizes the shutter 2 in a closing direction. The one end of the coil spring 3 has a case side detaining part 6 detained with a spring stop part 1a formed on the inside surface of the cartridge case 1. The front end 10 of the case side detaining part 6 is bent so as not to come into contact with the flank 11 of a spring stop part 1a.
