HEAT ROLL AND ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC DEVICE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the surface temperature of a heat roll at the time of printing uniform by an inexpensive method in order to improve printing quality in the fixing part of a laser beam printer utilizing an electrophotographic system. SOLUTION: By using two kinds of material having a different heat transfer coefficient and using the material having the higher heat transfer coefficient for a part to fix toner while coming into contact with paper, the heat transfer in the longitudinal direction of the heat roll is made smooth. By using the material having the lower heat transfer coefficient for bearing attaching parts at both ends of the heat roll, the escape of the heat to the frame of the fixing part is reduced.
