PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating liquid a for photocatalyst-supporting structure, of which coated film is colored for a certain period of time after being coated so that the coated surface and non-coated surface can visually be recognized and then rapidly gets colorless and eventually transparent (not only in the visible light region but also in the ultraviolet region), and to provide a method for producing a photocatalyst-supporting structure using the coating liquid. SOLUTION: This coating liquid is used for forming an adhesion layer composing a photocatalyst-supporting structure composed of the adhesion layer and a photocatalyst layer comprising a photocatalyst laminated on the support in this order, and contains at least one chromic material.
