PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To completely prevent the distortion and the color slurring of an image in a subscanning direction even in the case of requiring high resolution in image forming. SOLUTION: This image forming device is provided with photoreceptor drums 6 in image forming parts 2, 3, 4 and 5 forming respective color images, respectively. A carrying belt 7 carries paper by moving in synchronization with the drum 6 while press-contacting with the drum 6, so that a toner image on the drum 6 is transferred to paper. The rotational angle of the drum 6 and the eccentric position of the center of circular cross section from the rotary shaft of the drum 6 are detected. Then, the eccentric amount and the eccentric rotational angle of the drum 6 and the radius of the drum 6 are obtained from the detected result, and the distortion and the color slurring of the toner image transferred to the paper are corrected based on the obtained values. |
