<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in the conventional apparatuses that either a processing speed or error rate is unsatisfactory for adapting to all types of objects with one processing means as various objects of different speeds and distances appear in a monitoring area, when there are various means to extract a target from the reception signals of a radar, an error rate generally tends to be high in a means with a fast processing speed, and a processing speed is generally slow in a means with a low error rate. SOLUTION: The radar signal detecting device is provided with at least two types of processing means (e.g. scan correlation processing part 105 and postponement-determination-type false alarm processing part 108) having different processing speed characteristics and error rate characteristics or more. The radar signal detecting device is provided also with both a map 3, in which a processing means to be used is previously specified according to the location of a monitoring area and a false alarm suppression processing switching part 2 to select, switch, and use the processing means according to the information of the map 3.</p> |
