PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic ordering method and system, a managing device by which the ordering lowering a unit price can be performed without any out-of-stock state, and to provide an operation device applied with the automatic ordering. SOLUTION: This system is equipped with the operating device which is arranged for every user and detects the umber of consumables used for specific operation and sends its use quantity information to the managing device through a wide-area communication network together with consumable identification information and user identification information, a storage means which stores use reference values and cumulated use quantity information of each user by consumables, and the managing device which detects consumables whose cumulative use quantity information reaches a reference value in the storage means and orders the detected consumables to a supplier together for more than one user according to at least the user information, consumable information, and order quantities. |
