<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plug-opening method and a plug-opening device for specimen container allowing easy and sure opening of a plug. SOLUTION: A blood collection tube 1 having a base end sealed airtightly by a film-shaped sealing member 3 and containing collected blood is held in a holding member 11 of this plug-opening device 10. The sealing member 3 is irradiated with a laser beam 14 emitted from a laser irradiation device 13, and simultaneously a rotation driving means 12 is operated to rotate the blood collection tube 1 in a prescribed direction. At first, an irradiation start point A on the sealing member 3 is irradiated with the laser beam 14, and the beam is irradiated so as to draw an arc-shaped locus and to enclose an elastic body 4, following the rotation of the blood collection tube 1, and returned to be irradiation start point A after making one circuit (approach to or arrival at the point A). Thereby, the sealing member 3 is ruptured circularly to opening the plug.</p> |
