PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic head for magneto-optical disk recording capable performing a magnetic field modulation recording at high frequency of several MHz or above by reducing the inductance and resistance value of a coil of a magnetic core, and to provide a magneto optical disk device. SOLUTION: The magnetic head 1 for magneto-optical disk recording is provided with a plurality of magnetic cores 20a, 20b and 20c disposed in the radial direction d of a magneto optical disk, and a plurality of coils 21a, 21b and 21c which are wound around each of the magnetic cores 20a, 20b and 20c and can flow current independently. The recording current value to be made flow through each of the coils 21a, 21b and 21c is changed in accordance with the lens shift amount of an objective lens of an optical pickup.
