摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an extra portion of electromagnetic steel plates of both rotor iron core and stator iron core which are punched at the same time by setting almost identical the lamination thickness of rotor iron core and that of stator iron core of a self-excitation type synchronous motor comprising permanent magnet. SOLUTION: A width of a permanent magnet 5 in the right angle direction to the shaft is set wide to expand the area of magnetic pole of the permanent magnet by setting the internal diameter size of the end portions of a rotor magnetic pole of a short circuit ring for inserting the permanent magnet 5 smaller than the size of the area near the center of the rotor magnetic pole and reducing lamination thickness of the rotor iron core 2 by increasing as required the amount of magnetic flux of the permanent magnet.
