PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera shake preventing device which can maintain the respective each other's relative positions of the wrist, forearm, elbow, upper arm and trunk of a photographer at a fixed state, when taking pictures with a camera. SOLUTION: The camera movement preventing device for preventing the camera movement of the photographer using the camera 1 comprises a wrist holding member 2 for holding the wrist; an upper arm holding member 3 for holding the upper arm; a forearm-holding member 4 which is mounted at the wrist holding member 2 and is used to support the forearm from the wrist holding member 2 to the elbow; an upper arm supporting member 5 which is mounted at the upper arm holding member 3 and is used to support the upper arm from the upper arm holding member 3 to the elbow; an angle- regulating and holding member 6 which regulates the angle formed by the forearm holding member 4 and the upper arm support member 5 and integrally holds the forearm holding member 4 and the upper arm support member 5; and a distance-regulating member 7 which is mounted at the angle regulating and holding member 6, and is used to regulate the distance between the angle- regulating and holding member 6 and the photographer.
