PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera equipped with display device whose assembling workability is improved and by which a liquid crystal display part is more surely illuminated with simple configuration and the displayed contents are easily confirmed. SOLUTION: This camera incorporating the display device is assembled of the liquid crystal display part 2 displaying a variety of information of the camera and consisting of LCD, a control circuit (12) controlling the display part 2, an EL(electroluminescence) sheet 11 illuminating the display part 2, a driving circuit (13) driving the sheet 11, and a double coated adhesive tape 10 adhering the light emitting surface of the sheet 11 to the backside of the display part 2.
