PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome the conventional problem such that, in a liquid crystal sealing method wherein a liquid crystal is injected after a sealing connector of an elastic body is attached to a sealing port of a liquid crystal cell and the internal part of the liquid crystal cell is evacuated, since the elastic body is directly in contact with the liquid crystal sealing port for keeping an airtight property, a polymer material contained in the elastic body is adhered onto the surface of a glass substrate of the liquid crystal sealing port and as a result the adhesion property to the surface of the glass substrate of an end-sealing agent is reduced and the adhesive force of the end-sealing agent can not be secured and, if a structure in which the sealing connector for liquid crystal is not directly in contact with the sealing port of the liquid crystal cell is adopted for avoiding the problem, the liquid crystal used in vain is increased. SOLUTION: The sealing connector is specified to have a structure in which the liquid crystal cell is inserted into or interposed between members of the sealing connector and a porous material having a surface area larger than the side surface area of the liquid crystal sealing port is provided at the part which directly come in contact with the sealing port of the liquid crystal cell.
