PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylindrical drain trap completely preventing gas and odor from ascending from below with the action of a circular ball by finely squeezing both ends of a cylindrical shape, and inserting the circular ball 5 having about the diameter of a ping-pong ball and filled with a small quantity of weight into a pipe. SOLUTION: This drain trap is finely squeezed at the upper and lower parts as shown by a front figure (fig. 1), the trap pipe is equally divided into two at the middle, and male and female screw cuttings 8 are applied to divided portions. The circular ball 5 having about the diameter of the ping-pong ball and easily floated on water is inserted into the trap pipe, and a deodorizing circular ball receiving pipe 4 receiving the circular ball 5 is installed on a dehydration port 3 at the bottom section of the trap pipe. The upper and lower trap pipes are screwed and connected together at the screw portion 8 to integrate them, thereby downward drainage can be achieved. The miscellaneous water flowing-in from above can straightly pass in the pipe by the floating of the circular ball 5. After the passing of the miscellaneous water, the circular ball 5 is returned to the original upper position of the circular ball receiving pipe 4 to cut off the ventilation with an external water distributing pipe, and the gas and odor can be completely prevented from ascending from the external water distributing pipe.
