PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the unlocking action of a reel locking mechanism constituted to discretely and independently lock respective reels smooth and stable at all times. SOLUTION: A supply reel locking member is formed of a base part and a lug and its base part is provided with a recessed part for insertion of a reel unlocking operation member on a device side opening the base surface and one-side flank. On the other hand, a take-up reel locking member is formed of a base part and a lug and its base part is provided with the recessed part for insertion of the reel unlocking operation member on the device side opening the base surface and one-side flank. The supply reel locking member and the take-up reel locking member are mounted in the cassette body in such a manner that their one-side flanks face each other. The back part of the base part of the supply reel locking member and the back part of the base part of the take-up reel locking member are respectively thrust by means of retaining springs of the locking member. In unlocking the reels, the unlocking action is effected by inserting the reel unlocking operation member into the recessed part formed by the recessed part for insertion of the supply side reel locking member and the recessed part for insertion of the take-up side reel locking member.
