PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricating oil composition for continuously variable transmission having a high metal-to-metal friction coefficient required for a belt type CVT oil and an excellent oxidation stability capable of sustaining the performance for a long time. SOLUTION: This lubricating oil composition for continuously variable transmission comprises a lubricating base oil comprising a mineral oil and/or a synthetic oil formulated with (A) a wear preventing agent, (B) a metal cleaning agent, and (C) an ashless dispersing agent and (C) the ashless dispersing agent is a succinimide including one or more boron atoms per molecule.
