PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for preparing an animation, and a computer-readable recording medium in which animation preparing program recorded is recorded by which a composite animation, obtained by adding an object to the picture of a previously described animation can be prepared by simple operation and in a short time. SOLUTION: The animation preparing device has an additional object selecting part 14 for selecting an object to be added from plural objects prepared in advance, a motion animation generation part 20 for generating a motion animation in which an object included in the picture of the described animation makes a motion corresponding to the selected object by using the picture of the described animation, and an animation compositing part 15 for compositing the motion animation and the picture of the animation of the second object.
