PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, in a full-color display panel in which light emitting diodes of three primary colors of red, green and blue are built-up, the variation in light emission luminosity of individual light emitting diode elements is large and colors are not uniform. SOLUTION: In this display device, light emission luminosity inherent to individual light emitting elements which are used by being actually build-up in a light emitting array versus forward-current characteristics are obtained by lighting these diodes with a lighting driving circuit and a lighting drive is performed in conformity with reference luminosity. Thus, it becomes possible to eliminate the variation in individual differences of the light emitting elements and high-quality full-color display is realized.
