PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover-locking mechanism capable of protecting a movable component, so that an external force will not affect it, without having to cover it with another member or to take some space to a cabinet. SOLUTION: The cover-locking mechanism 12 for locking a cover 3, having a locking piece 9 to an apparatus body 14, comprises a locking lever 17 having a recess-like locking claw 17a for locking the piece 9 of the cover 3 and a part 17c to be extruded and pressed by the piece 9 and sliding between a previously defined locking position and a releasing position, while causing the rotating fulcrum to change by pressing the cover 3 by the piece 9, a spring member 23 for always urging the lever 17 in a fixed direction, and a base plate 13 for supporting the lever 17 and the member 23 with the lever 17 and the member 23 being provided at the inside of the plate 13.
