发明名称 WELDING METHOD OF CATHODE-RAY TUBE GLASS
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating method in which only the part to be welded of a neck and a stem used for a cathode-ray tube can be strongly welded without causing a breakage in a short time by heating the limited area while a temperature-rise of the cathode is extremely suppressed, in which conditions of welding can be easily reproduced, in which the heated part is not contaminated, and which is especially appropriate in the case an electronic gun with an implemented cathode is used. SOLUTION: This is a welding method of the cathode-ray tube glass wherein a neck 1 and a stem 2 are heated, softened and welded by the infrared radiation being irradiated from an irradiation means 5 on the part to be welded of the neck 1 and the stem 2 supported on the same shaft line with a neck retaining jig 3 and a stem retaining jig 4 while being relatively rotated. This comprises a pre-heating process, a welding process, a cooling process and an annealing process of the neck 1 and the stem 2, and these processes are performed by regulating the irradiation strength of the infrared ray.
