PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a boiler in which a combustion-chamber has an enough capacity to improve combustion performance, and heat-absorptive capacity is increased by making effective use of heat-transfer area, while preventing increase in the installation area. SOLUTION: A number of water tubes are placed circularly around a combustion chamber 1 in the boiler. The tubes comprises an inside tube-row 2 installed all around the inside of the chamber 1, and an outside tube-row 3 installed only in a part of the periphery, an combustion gas path 6 is formed in the space between the rows 2 and 3. Spaces between adjacent tubes in the row 2 are closed by inner fins 4, and that between adjacent tubes in the outside row 3 are closed by outer fins 5. The combustion chamber 1 and the path 6 are connected through opening 7 made partly in the fins 4 facing to the gas path 6. Exhaust path 8 connected with the path 6 is provided outside the row 2 in the part where row 3 is not disposed. An exhaust port 9 is provided at the end of the exhaust gas path.
